I can answer your question, but don't know if I want to. I don't want my board to become a place where people argue religion and their beliefs. However, I believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God - but it is by faith, Lan - nobody can make us believe it - we have to experience it through the power of God and the Holy Spirit. We can't fake it with God - He knows our hearts and the only thing He asks is that we accept what He did for us and that was sending His Son, Jesus Christ, down to die for the sins of the world (but each person has a responsibility for their sins and their actions, so we have to personally accept that belief).

We all are born with the sin nature - hate, greed, envy, lust are all inbred in us - that is the nature of man - we can either choose to do things that go along with that or try to lead a good life - which often fails. So we need Christ to cover our sins so that we are clean before God. I don't know if I am saying that exactly right - Scotty could lend a magnificent commentary on this I am sure. But even with all this - I know I fall constantly. I struggle with a number of issues in my life - too personal to share here - but it is like an earthly purgatory - because the struggle is so deep and hard.

It's hard to explain - but we all have evilness in us naturally - so where is all this coming from? Something happen to make you question something in your life? That's where it all starts - by questioning what we have lived and what we want to live. Somehow God hears us and sees fit to have those answers come - sometimes it comes quickly and other times it takes years for our eyes to open.

So, after all that - how are you my friend, I have missed you. Miss our long talks - but I know things are different with your schedule now - just don't hesitate to call me when you're home. You can use my 800 number - I pay the bills anyway - Bill gets on me once in a while - but hey, I earn my keep too - so if I tell someone that they can use it - then trust me - I can handle Bill. I have my ways . . . hehehe (my evil grin)

Thanks for visiting my board - Uncle Bob surprised me with it - he's become a wonderful friend!!!

Hey, why not by-pass one of your Idaho deliveries and make a mistake and bring it to Virginia!!!! Just a thought - it would be fun to see you - the guest room is always here for you!!
