But there are real lemons out there. I got one 15 years ago...a 1987 Buick Park Avenue, bought new, which in its two years and about 50,000 miles with me, went through:
---3 complete sets of engine management electronics
---3 fuel injection systems
---3 complete transmission assemblies
---2 engine blocks (bottom end of the engine burned out)
Needless to say, I dumped it at the first opportunity. Never bought that brand again (it's been Chevy ever since; had three of them, an '89, a '99 and a new one I got this past spring) and never had to have even warranty work on any of 'em.
That '87? I called it the Buick from Hell. It wasn't a Park Avenue, it was a Pork Avenue---what a pig!
